Big Dog the red nosed big dog

Christmas 2006

I'm told that this is the season of Peace on Earth and Goodwill to All Men (what about dogs?). Furthermore, I'm told that my adventures will continue in the New Year. I'll have to take this on trust, as being just a big dog, I have no concept of the Gregorian calendar, so don't know what this means.

No Music Day

no_music_day

I'm told today is No Music Day. I'm sure I'd support this if it weren't for the fact that the concept of sound organised into patterns for entertainment and intellectual satisfaction is entirely beyond a big dog.

Guy Who?

Apparently it's Bonfire Night today. Unfortunately, being just a big dog, I lack any knowledge of combustion, so I'm unable to join in. I've tried hard to remember gunpowder, treason and plot, but as I have no concept of nationality, or understanding of the history of sectarian political intrigue in 17th century Europe, that's all lost on me too, I'm afraid.

Blimey, it's noisy out there, though.

The Cult of the Dog?

While sniffing around Camden the other day I saw several of these:

it looked very familiar. Could there be a sect of Big Dog devotees in North London?

Obviously, being just a big dog, i'm unable to comment on the significance of this.

Deconstructed Dog

Pieces of Eight

If a biscuit is in pieces, is it still a biscuit? How far must the pieces move before we see the crumbs instead of the whole?

And if it's on the floor, is it dog food?
